1. Data We Collect

When you use ContentAI we collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: email address, name, and authentication credentials
• Brand profile data: niche, audience, goals, and tone preferences you enter during onboarding
• Generated content: posts, strategies, and campaigns created using our AI tools
• Usage data: features accessed, generation counts, and session activity
• Payment data: handled securely by our payment processor (Paddle); we never store card details

2. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Analytics data (if collected) is anonymized and used only to improve the product.

3. AI Processing

Content generation requests are sent to Anthropic (Claude API) to produce your posts and strategies. We send only the minimum necessary context. Anthropic may use API inputs to improve their models under their own privacy terms. We do not sell your content to any third party.

4. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to: provide and personalize the Service, process billing and subscriptions, improve product features, and respond to support requests. We never sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location you may have rights including:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: ask us to fix inaccurate data
• Deletion: request permanent deletion of your account and associated data
• Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Opt-out: unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time

6. Data Retention

We retain account data while your account is active. On deletion, personal data is removed within 90 days. Anonymized aggregate usage data may be retained indefinitely for product improvement.
